FAQ's 1. How can I get my tattoo(s) on Strike the Box? 5. I can't find my tattoo on the site anymore, what happened to it? 6. Could you recommend a tattoo artist in my area?
Answers:
Click here to send us your firefighter tattoo. Note: If you don't meet the above requirements, I’m sure we could find a spot for your tattoo on one of our other sites. We have web sites for Military Tattoos, Female tattoos, Sports tattoos, Spiritual tattoos, & even a site for really bad tattoos! When submitting a tattoo here is how the process goes: You fill out an online form with some info about yourself & your ink. Then you click the button at the bottom “Submit Your Information”. (please, really… please, only press the button once) We will send you an email when your tattoo has been edited & uploaded to the site.
No we don't do custom designs; but one of the reasons I created “Strike the Box” was to inspire your imagination. Take a look around the site and get ideas, combine elements of tattoos that you like, and then bring your ideas to a tattoo artist and they should be able to draw it out for you. (feel free to print out any of the tattoos on the site to show your artist. Just respect our copyright as outlined in our Terms and Conditions for Use. As you could imagine, with the sheer volume of images we post, it is near impossible to remember the location of each one. But here are a few tips that may assist you in locating the image. I've found the best way to locate a specific tattoo is to use our Site Search feature . If that doesn't work keep reading. Check the complete gallery for the tattoo your trying to find. As we add new tattoos to a gallery each month, we shift the older ones down the page at the end of each month. So a tattoo that was on page 2 could be moved to the top of page 3, etc. Check other relevant galleries.Once a gallery starts to get overcrowded, we may move some tattoos to other galleries. For example, we may see a new theme developing and create a gallery for that. Such was the case for the "men of fire" gallery. We noticed a lot of firefighter scenes in our “misc” section so we created a new category and moved the tattoos into there. Sometimes we just screw up! : ) Occasionally we delete a tattoo by mistake. It doesn't happen often, but I have to admit I do it sometimes. About every three months or so we'll compare the gallery index pages to the tattoos that are on the server to make sure they match up. If there were any tattoos accidentally deleted that is when we will catch it and correct the error. So if you try the other steps above and still can't locate the tattoo, you may see it resurface in a few months.
Unfortunately we don't have the time to respond to these requests. May I suggest that you try typing your state into our “site search”? The results should include tattoos artists from that area & if you like the tattoo on that page, well you've found your artist. You will also want to check out our “Featured Tattoo Artist Gallery” which has some of the most remarkable artists in the world. |
