Description: I wanted a tattoo that represented both tradition and history of the fire service. Who better than St. Florian, who takes care of all firemen, regardless of creed, race, gender, volunteer, or paid.

I placed him within a maltese cross, to remind us all, that here on earth, we must take care of one another, as did the Knights of St. John.
