Description: I wanted something that I could be proud of many many years down the road. The Latin saying above the cross means Fortune Favors the Brave.

The saying is the Motto of Squad 288 in Queens. I lost many close friends on Sept. 11th from that Squad. In the cross are the initals of my children, so they will always be with me. And of course the 343 is the number of the brave souls that lost their lives on September 11th.
