"My name is Kevin Cooper. I am a Lieutenant with the Union Township Fire Department in Clermont County, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. I am a member of IAFF local 3412. I got my first tattoo last year when I was at the National Fire Academy. I was done by an artist at the Dragon Moon Tattoo Studio in Maryland. The tattoo is a Firefighters scramble with the names of my three sons. 6 year old Mason, 4 year old Zane, and 2 year old Austin.

I got my second tattoo a few weeks before Easter this year. It was done by Jimmy Shadow at Shadow Works Art Studio in Amelia, Ohio. It is a Celtic Cross and below it is the scripture Isaiah 43: 1-3. In the Bible it reads: But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior". "
