Description: My tattoo is in memory of my girl-friend who I lost in March of '07. She passed after falling into a diabetic coma, its the call we never want.. but it happens, I was first on scene and through the door. She loved doing things for the department and hanging with the guys.

The tat is based on the her being the diabetes ribbon with angle wings and her halo not quite centered (she was human like the rest of us) it's combined with the maltese cross representing my life in the department, the artist brought it all together to depict her lifting me up after all I'm human too and sometimes I stumble.
