This tattoo was sent in by Mike Baker, a 27 year professional firefighter from Tulsa, Ok.

"I am retiring Jan.1 2003, and had this custom tat inked in April 2002 as insurance that, in at least one way, I will remain a firefighter for the rest of my life. You know, it's not really about what we do; it's about who we are."

The tat was beautifully done by Peggy at Paradise Tattoo in Key West, Fla. and is an exact replica of the Captains badge I was issued Sept. 1, 1980. I have another one planned for Spring 2003. I'll submit it when it is done.
