This beautiful work is an unbelieveable tribute. I'll let the collector "AnnMarie" describe it in her own words. "My name is AnnMarie, I live in Scottsdale Arizona but was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. I was there this past summer working when the wtc accident happened. I lost three close childhood friends in the towers. I got this tattoo in honor of my friends Firefighter Joey Agnello ladder 118,Police officer Glen Pettit video unit, and Espeed employee Deanna Galante."

"The three birds are symbold of my friends, the towers are symbols of all the lives lost that day and the brooklyn bridge is a symbol of where I am from. The work was done by Mel she works out of Clan Tatu in Tempe Arizona. I still have some work to be done on this piece the sunset has to be colored and the date is going to be placed in the base of the bridge. May My Friends Rest In Peace" |
